Mystery Crime game rules

At the beginning of the game, three cards — one suspect, one room, and one weapon — are chosen randomly and put into a special envelope, so that no one can see them.

These cards represents the facts of the case. The remainder of the clue game card are distributed among the players. Discover the criminal in this murdering game online.

How to play

Players roll the dice and move along the mansion entering into the rooms to make supposals and find clues online.

The purpose is to deduce the details of the murder using the clues (solve the cards that are in the envelope). There are 6 characters, 6 murder weapons and 9 rooms. Find the hidden objects and try to win this amazing murdering game.

When a detective enters into a room, he may make a supposal, as a real detective, solve the details of the murdering, naming a suspect, room & weapon. Example: "I suggest it was Black, in the Dining Room, with the candlestick".

The investigators suggestions must include the room they are currently in.

If any of the rest of the detectives has any card from the current suggestion, the player must privately show one card (and only one) of the board game to him. If not, the process continues clockwise around the table until either one detectives disproves the criminal suggestion.

A player who believes they have determined the correct clue, he may make an accusation during his turn. This player will turn the cards in the envelope. If this cards match with the accusation, the player shows them to everyone and wins the game, he solved the mystery.

If not, he returns them to the envelope and he have lost the accussal and the game, he has to leave the investigation. That's why you have to find clues before make a definitive acussation.

Making suggestions with your discovered clue

A player makes a suggestion to discard his cards using his board. This is very important to solve the crime in the current scene investigation. Each inspector begins the board discarding only his own cards. This board helps a lot keeping track of game clues found.

Remember to use your notepad in your investigation game. The notepad can keep not only a history of the clue, it will help you also to have a good perspective of the progress of the mystery, to remember which clues the other players has shown.

There are nine rooms in the mansion where the murder can take place. Each character starts at the center of the mansion, and can move wherever they want depending on the value of their throwed dice.
